Oily hair? Dry Shampoo it!
This post brought to you by TRESemmé. All opinions are 100% mine.
Anyone who knows me, knows I am religious about washing my hair every… single… day. I know it’s better to skip a few days in between washes, but my hair is just so naturally fine and blonde, that if I don’t wash it daily it will look like I literally rubbed lard all over my head. Gross, I know. Even if I throw it back into a pony tail it will look greasy, limp and lifeless.
That is, until I discovered my HG (holy grail) hair product. I was walking through the hair care aisle at the drug store and stumbled upon the TRESemmé section. Low and behold, I found a glorious spray can that said TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. And that is the day my hair routine changed forever!
I had always known about dry shampoos, but they were only carried by high-end brands that wanted an arm and a leg. I wasn’t willing to shell out major dough to try it out. When I spotted the price tag on the TRESemmé Dry Shampoo, there was no question that I was buying this stuff forever!
Now I never worry about skipping a day or two between washes. A few sprays of this stuff and any yucky oils in your hair are absorbed and your hair is instantly refreshed. I will even spray this onto my clean, dry hair because it gives SUCH a great volume boost!
Here are a few tricks on how to use it:
1. Shake WELL
2. Lift sections of hair and spray the roots lightly, about 8-12 inches away.
3. Let the product sit in your hair for a few minutes undisturbed so it can absorb and work it’s magic.
4. After about 5 minutes, either run a brush or your fingers through your hair and give it a good tossle.
If you want to watch a video tutorial on how to use this product, Julia Allison has a great youtube video demonstrating it. She is also doing a $500 Target gift card giveaway to one of her viewers.. so check it out!
