I applied for FAFSA earlier this year. Apparantly I earn far too much skrilla to get assistance from the government. I have been looking into student loans on the web, talk about a multi-million dollar business. Good lord. They honestly scare the crap out of me. I have friends far older than me, who make way less money than me, who are STILL paying on their student loans. I sooo do not want to be in that boat. If I decide to go back, I will probably just pay for it out of pocket. It’s a partial tax write-off isn’t it?

Man.. 2006 better be one hell of an improvement from last year. Now I’m not usually one to complain (haha), but lets recap Chelsey’s 2005 shall we:

* Mom goes insane & flees to another city.
* I Lose contact with siblings because of mom going insane
* The two most beloved people in my life, grandma & grandpa, pass away.
* The crooked ass government randomly stole $300 from one of my checks.
* I hit 100,000 on my car
* I never took a fucking vacation

Can you feel the magic? So can I.

Okay. So my lease is over October 31st. That leaves me about two weeks before I have to be out. For the past month I have been driving myself fucking INSANE trying to find a place to move to. I finally found this awesome little condo that fits in my price range and is really close to my work. The shitty thing is that I need to give the owner a huge security deposit of $585. He agreed to hold it for me until this Friday (the 14th) because that is the day I get paid.

So I’m already stressing about having to move, clean, get this deposit money.. blah blah blah. I’ve never had to setup utilities before either because they were always included in my rent at other places. So now I have to worry about a gas bill, water bill, AND electric bill. Jesus Christ.

Okay so here is why I’m fucked. The other office manager at my work came up to me yesterday and gave me a letter from the IRS. I’m getting $271 withheld from my check because I never paid my state taxes. Seriously.. this is complete and utter HORSE SHIT. I get $200+ in taxes taken out of every single check I receive.. AND YET THEY ARE GOING TO SAY I OWE AN ADDITIONAL $300? Crooked ass government. I’m 20 fucking years old, live on my own, pay my own bills, barely get by as it is.. and the State of Arizona dicks me for all they can. And could this have come at a better time? HELL no. And I like how I never got one single letter in the mail from them.. they just decide to put a levy on my wages out of nowhere. No letters, no FINAL NOTICE, nothing.

I mean, overall, yeah it’s my fault for not paying. But shit I thought I would at least get a friendly little reminder or something. The state rapes my check enough as it is.. and the fact that they are trying to squeez the life out of my income just pisses me off. $300 is A LOT for me. Fuck.. even $20 is a lot for me.

Now I have to go whore myself on the corner to be able to pay my deposit *cries* Wave if you see me.

First of all.. the fucking Eagles lost the superbowl. They played like absolute SHIT! I was almost ashamed of them.. but thats not what really pissed me off.

Yesterday started off cool.. I had people over for a superbowl party and we grilled burgers.. got shitfaced.. smoked some shit.. it was all good. My best friend Manda was there.. which was awesome because she just got back from Iraq on Friday (she’s a marine). She had been drinking ALLLLLL day so she decided to crash at my place overnight.

We ended up falling asleep around 3am.. which sucked because I have to wake up at 7:30 to get ready for work. So at about 4am Manda is knocking on my bedroom door all upset. Some assholes BROKE INTO HER CAR and fucked it up SOOOO bad. I went down to her car with her to talk to the cops and to make sure my car was okay (since they were right next to each other). Now one thing about my apartments.. the parking is INSANE. We both had to park our cars all the way down by the apartment office because there were NO spaces left. So the bitches gutted her entire dash.. ripped out her stereo.. including the ac/heating controls and wiring. They stole her government credit cards and all her CDs. This really REALLY freaked me out because we have the same exact stereo deck.. and I even had an old purse in my backseat that you would see through the window.

Why was I so fucking lucky? Why did Manda have to take it up the ass so hard with this bullshit? She only has liability insurance too.. so shes basically fucked raw. The thing that really pisses me off is that I LIVE ON THE RICH ASS SNOBBY OLD PEOPLE SIDE OF TOWN.. shit like that isnt supposed to happen there god dammet.

So she took off at about 5:30am and I couldn’t really get back to sleep after all that drama. I am SO fucking paranoid for my car now. If I can’t park that shit hella close from now on then I’m sleeping in my backseat with a gun under my pillow lol. So I’m just so fucking exhausted from all of this.. I’m on like 2 hours of sleep and I smell like cigarettes and corona.. I probably look like death. Oh well. I feel so bad for Manda.. I wish there was something I could have done for her
