I find myself being a complete sucker for hot shoes lately. My absolute most favorite shoe of choice is a bright 2.5″ heel. I can’t wear too high of a heel, I have absolutely no balance. I blame my chest :) I don’t think I can go a single day at work without internet-window shoe shopping for at least a few minutes.

One of my favorite shoe resouces is Zappos. I found them in Marie Claire magazine a few months ago. They have the sexiest inventory of sandals I have ever witnessed! I am pretty much in love with the pair of Cole Haan’s they have featured right now. Yummy! I bet retailmenot has some sweet discount coupons. And did I mention they have free shipping? Shopping is love <3

Thank goodness for extended car warranties that include rental car coverage.. because I would be up shit creek without a paddle if I didn’t have it! I bought a Dodge Magnum (sexy I know) last year, and it has been back and forth from the dealership getting warranty stuff done on it, so I have been rolling around in a rental on and off for a couple months now. Usually I HATE when I have to drive a rental, because compared to my beautiful Magnum, they are all garbage. But this last time I went.. Enterprise gave me a 2009 Dodge Journey!

It was love at first gear shift. I had never even heard of a Dodge Journey before. I guess it is supposed to be one of those “crossover” type vehicles.. with the frame of a car but the build of an SUV. My favorite feature was the glove box, because it had a little cooler for your drinks The more I drove it, the more curious I became, so I looked up some Dodge Journey Reviews online and it seemed to be a crowd favorite. I must say though, I was a little disappointed with the gas mileage. I get about 15mpg in my Magnum and that thing has a V8 Hemi! I was expecting at LEAST 16 mpg in this V6 Journey.. but nope. It stayed right around 15. I wonder if it has that Dodge engine displacement thing? Oh.. and I haven’t found one that comes in all leather. But when I do.. that bitch is mine! 8)

The Phatness of Phytonutrients

Today I feel compelled to post about my love for salads. I have recently discovered the yummiest, healthiest, phytonutrientest salad ever! What are phytonutrients you ask? Well I just discovered them recently myself. And I figure that anything that starts with a “PH” must be awesome. Basically, they are nutrients derived straight from plants.. so thank you mother nature! Having a phytonutrient rich diet can beef up your immune system, prevent yucky diseases, and even keep your eyes working at top-notch performance.

My favorite is the “sweet tender greens” drizzled with balsamic. Tonight I am going to make the red greens, watermelon, and feta cheese salad.. mmmmm. It sounds promising, right? No More Dramaaaa

Okay so DRAMA time! This is a watered down version. My boyfriend’s little sister Heather (who, AT THE TIME, I considered to be a sister of my own) turned 21 on September 3rd. The event that I help organize happened to be September 5th, so I figured it would be a great present to take her out for a fancy night on the town. We could go to my event together, get all dressed up, I would take care of her drinks, get her in free, the whole enchilada.
So that night, she picks me up and we arrive to the event at about 9:45pm. The event goes like this: 9pm to 11pm is networking/exhibits/socializing and from 11pm to 2am is clubbing/dancing/crunking. So I am introducing Heather to people, showing her the exhibits, walking her through the art galleries, etc. She gets a phone call at about 10:30pm from some guy friend of hers, asking if she could come kick it and drink with him. She tells him no, but I could see the lightbulb over her head.
About 10 minutes later, as I am introducing her to a few more people, she looks at her phone and goes “OH I missed a call from Joe!” (Her boyfriend.) She tells me she will be right back, and runs off to call him. Two minutes later, she rushes up to me all frantic “CHELSEY!! WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!! JOE’S NEPHEW JUST HIT HIS HEAD ON THE BED AND HE’S BLEEDING AND HE NEEDS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL AND I HAVE THE CAR!!!!” So it’s 10:45pm and we leave. She is driving like a maniac to drop me off and it seemed like she was genuinley freaking out.
At the time, I was like “OMG okay lets go!” being in the moment, you know? But then, as I am laying in bed on a Friday night at 11pm.. full makeup.. hair done to perfection.. looking quite sexy if I do say so myself.. I had an epiphany. This bitch was a complete liar.
I’m sorry, but if my nephew is bleeding profusely from his head, I am going to call AN AMBULANCE not my fucking girlfriend. And he has about 398204 family members who have vehicles. It just didn’t make sense. The more I thought about it.. th

I’m alive

Yes, I am indeed alive. I’ve been incredibly fucking busy as of late, hence my absense and lack of updating. Several months ago I became involved in helping organize a local monthly event aimed at revitalizing the downtown area of Tucson and offering some nice networking opportunities for the young professionals in town. It’s very awesome! I, of course, am the webmaster and take care of all things internet related

In other exicting news, I finally broke down and bought me one of them fancy shmancy washers and dryers, hot dang!! No seriously though, I’ve been lugging my laundry around for 4 years, and I’ve had an empty laundry room for 2 years just begging me to fill it up with some sexy appliances. I finally gave in and bought the Whirlpool Cabrio set. I like them because they have glass doors, so you can watch your clothes wash & dry LOL. I am easily amused, I know.

OH another exciting thing, I was asked to participate in career day at a local elementary school in April! HOW CUTE IS THAT? The counselor contacted me and said she was referred to me by somebody, and they would love to have a web designer because it is a very non-traditional career, especially for a young female. I get to setup a display table and talk to kids grades K-6. That is gonna be the highlight of my year I swear!

Yeah so wow.. I kinda forgot I had a website there for a while lol. I hope everyone had a fan-fucking-tastic Christmas and New Years!

So my post below says how I started saving for a Coach purse right. Well I stopped saving BECAUUUUUUSEEEEEE Mikey Wikey bought me TWO, not one but TWOOOOOOOOOO Coach purses for my birthday/Christmas!!! Not only that but he also bought me a matching Coach WALLET and KEYCHAIN!!!!!! ROCK THE FUCK ON!!!!!! :lol: He made me the happiest Chelsey that I’ve been in so long.

Other (less exciting) Christmas presents that I received consisted of: TONS of Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush stuff, a crockpot (I must be getting old.. people are getting me kitchen appliances as presents), a $50 SpaFinder gift card, $300 from my pops, $1,500 from my boss (he loves me alot lol), an OfficeMax gift card (which gets the random present award this year) and lots of other misc. stuff!

Finally there is a new blog up in this bitch! So yeah.. ugh.. sup? lol. How the fuck is everyone? Doing well I presume. I’ve been keeping it funky *does the harlem shake across the room* haha. I’ve managed to stay out of trouble and lay low for a bit Work is going just smashingly (lol @ me saying smashingly). And I’ve pretty much stayed busy doing my webdesign work on the side. I think I’m going to start selling templates for wordpress if I ever get a hair up my ass.

Club Crawl

We went to club crawl this past weekend.. fucking A that place was packedddd. It’s where they close off the streets of downtown Tucson and let people walk around with beers and listen to live bands and stuff. We left at about midnight and walked down to this bar called O’Malleys, where I proceeded to step in a big ass pile of yellow puke and thought it was a pile of hay or something.. yeah.. don’t ask. When I went to California a few weeks ago, we spent a few hours at Venice Beach. I decided to expand upon my artistic abilities by creating a sexy, oversized penis sandcastle. It took me about half an hour, but it was God damn beautiful. It was sort of akward when this married couple and their five year old daughter walked by.. and she asked her daddy what that huge monstrosity was encrusted in the earth.. ahh. Yes.. that was akward indeed.
