My friend just bought a brand new Jeep Liberty and she’s been super happy with it. All I’ve ever owned are Chrysler vehicles so I’m no stranger to the brand I think the Liberty’s look so sleep but the Car Connection only gave them a 6.8 rating.. boo. But they didn’t even give the Mercedes SI-Class that good of a rating, only a 7.7? Lame! I could always go the Chester the Molester route and get a Chevrolet Express LOL. I didn’t even know they still made vans that creepy looking.

If you have the know-how, you can always go the route of setting up your own web servers. But you’ll soon likely realize how much maintenance is involved there. Consider purchasing a managed hosting plan. You will be able to use your own servers, but the hosting company will remotely be responsible for the upkeep. No more worrying about backups, updating infrastructure and patches and monitoring your servers.

The third option is colocation. If you already own your own servers but don’t want to deal with storing and running them, just ship your servers to your hosting company and they will be responsible for running and managing them in a temperature-controlled, secure location.

Whatever option you choose, make sure you do your homework about the company and it’s reliability.

Having been involved in the wonderous web world since the tender age of 13, I consider myself to have been “around the block” when it comes to web hosting. I racked my brain for weeks trying to come up with a domain name that would never go out of style or that I would get sick of. Throughout my 6 years of domain ownership, I have definitely seen some turbulent times in regards to web hosting. Back in 2004 I was broke as a joke, barely able to pay rent, so of course I scoured the internet for the cheapest hosting deal I could possibly find. I definitely found it. Webhostingboy.com hosted my website for $4.95 per month for unlimited space/bandwidth. If you need assistance with how much space and bandwidth you might need, check out a web hosting guide to give you an idea. it was definitely a nice deal at first, but after my website experienced frequent downtime, poor support and eventually the loss/demise of my entire website.. I realized you definitely get what you pay for in the web hosting world.

I tried out a few more “economy” hosting companies and all ended with the same result. I decided spending a few dollars more to host your website with a reputable company was WELL worth the money. Now, after dealing with such poor service, a feature I require from my hosting company is 24/7 live chat support. I don’t care if you can help me over the phone.. I don’t want to spend an hour dialing buttons to get to you. I want a real person to connect to through a chat client. Hostgator.com has been great in accommodating me for the past 2 years.

Chelsey’s Web Hosting Tips:

1. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Check out a web hosting directory, read reviews, forum posts, etc.
2. Always look for contact information. Posted phone numbers & addresses are vital. If you have a problem, you want it handled ASAP.
3. Never pay for a year’s worth of hosting in advance. You might hate the company after 2 months and they could refuse a refund.
4. Remember.. you get what you pay for in the web hosting world!

We sat through a GOD AWFUL timeshare presentation to get some cheap show tickets lol. We saw Carrot Top, he is funny as hell. And at the very end he comes out almost naked, his body is fucking KILLER! But his face.. ehh.. that’s another story. I’d fuck him with a bag over his head though for sure. We also saw this show called Fantasy which has about 15 topless chicks dancing around for 2 hours. It was decent. Then we saw Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo who is a magician. Even though we had shitty balcony seats the show was pretty sweet. I wanted to see Cris Angel but he was on vacation the week we went

Another thing we got for sitting through the timeshare bullshit was a bunch of free passes to the hotel buffets. If you value your life.. please take my advice and stay AWAY from the Excalibur buffet. O M F G. It’s like $25 for the entire day and to be honest, I would have rather eaten dirty cigarrette butts from the sidewalk for lunch. The only thing edible was a pile of bananas. The next day we did the Luxor buffet which was a huge upgrade. But I’m not really a buffet person, I have never left any buffet thinking “WOW THAT WAS SO INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS I MUST EAT THERE AGAIN” so ya know. The last day we went to the MGM buffet which had all-you-can-eat crab legs. That made it worth it to me. But it was like $35 per person, so for two people after tax you’re looking at $70+ for a BUFFET dinner lol.

Let’s see.. we also saw the Bodies exhibit and the Titanic exhibit. Both were very cool. The bodies exhibit is a huge maze full of cadavers all cut up so you can see the human organs, bones, muscles, etc. The titanic exhibit was pretty much amazing. There are hundreds of artifacts displayed that were recovered from the ship. They also setup replicas of the rooms for 1st class, 2nd class and 3rd class. Before you enter, they give you a card with the name and story of one of the passengers and you find out at the end of the exhibit if you lived or died. It was very touching, I cried like a bitch

Oh and did you know Vegas has an entire 2 miles of road dedicated to bums? It’s pretty strange. We were just driving around downtown and all the sudden we see miles of tents setup alongside a chainlink fence. Some weren’t even tents, just a few bedsheets tied together like a fort. Poor Vegas bum village.

Always has been and always will be. Bad-Behavior.com holds a special little place in my heart, as it was my first real project. As I have grown as a web designer, this website has grown with me.

So now a little about me. As I stated above, my name is Chelsey. Most of my friends simply call me Chels. I was born into this world on November 23rd, 1984 making me 24 years old. Tucson Arizona has forever been the place I call home. This really is an amazing city. I have traveled to 12 different states over the course of my life and nothing, in my opinion, can compare to Tucson. The mountains, the sunsets, the monsoons.. Tucson just encompasses everything that makes you appreciate life a little more.

I have two jobs, which I love, but only one do I consider my career. I have worked as an office manager for a little real estate appraisal firm for the past five years. Real estate has always interested me, probably because my grandparents were realtors and always took me to work with them to be their little helper. My other job title is a freelance web designer. I started doing freelance web work in 2005 and keep a current portfolio at my design website, www.Chels.net. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing organizations, businesses and individuals. Web design is something I truley enjoy doing and consider it to be my passion.

Now let’s talk about family. I used to consider myself to have an incredibly large, loving family. That is definitely not the case anymore. Feel free to read my blog archives from 2005 to get the whole story. The only family member who I am super close with is my dad. I don’t have any substantial relationship with my mother. I have a little brother and sister who I used to be extremely close with, but certain events caused us to devistatingly drift apart. I still love them more than life.

Moving on! I am the epitome of a girly girl.  I have an incredible addiction to all things beauty and style. I have a plethra of makeup, hair products, nail polish, perfumes.. you name it and I’ve probably got it. I consider the front doors to Sephora to be my pearly gates to Heaven. One of my other addictions is Coach handbags and accessories. So far my Coach collection includes: 6 large purses, 6 matching wallets, 2 wristlets, 2 key fobs, and 1 pair of eyeglasses. Shopping is love!

I don’t know much about cars, but I know I love my car. It is a 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T with a V8 hemi. VROOM! I also have a 2000 Dodge Stratus, as that was my first car and I just couldn’t bear to part with it. I am sentimental like that. I, sadly, have sold my Dodge Stratus and replaced it with a Chrysler Sebring.

I consider my friends to be the most awesome people of all time. I can’t think of anywhere I would rather be than out with my friends, on a dance floor and with a drink in my hand. Our intoxicated nights out are definitely what keep me sane in this busy and sometimes drama-filled life.

Today I feel compelled to post about my love for salads. I have recently discovered the yummiest, healthiest, phytonutrientest salad ever! What are phytonutrients you ask? Well I just discovered them recently myself. And I figure that anything that starts with a “PH” must be awesome. Basically, they are nutrients derived straight from plants.. so thank you mother nature! Having a phytonutrient rich diet can beef up your immune system, prevent yucky diseases, and even keep your eyes working at top-notch performance.

Phytolife.com is an informative (and cute) little website which explains how awesome phytonutrients are. Phytolife.com also has some really deelish salad recipes based on the FreshExpress bagged salad you can buy at the grocery store. They are super-packed with phytonutrients! My favorite is the “sweet tender greens” drizzled with balsamic. Tonight I am going to make the red greens, watermelon, and feta cheese salad.. mmmmm. It sounds promising, right? Has anyone else been having trouble with their GMail? I keep getting a Temporary Error (502) message when I sign in and it is making me FUCKING BATTY! I now realize what a gmail addict I have become. I did some googling and found that it has been doing this to several accounts over the course of a few months. Am I going to have to go through GMail detox? AHHH!!!!!
